Where is Kul Dormitory?
In the Avcılar area of Istanbul, an 8-minute walk from Istanbul Gelişim University Avcılar Campus; our official address is Turgut Özal Mah. Su Yolu Cad. No:1, Esenyurt / Istanbul. We are a 7-minute walk from the Saadetdere Metrobus stop.
Is the dormitory for male students only?
Yes. Kul Dormitory is a private higher-education male student dormitory licensed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Are meals included in the fee?
Breakfast is included in the fee. In addition to our 150-seat dining hall there is a hobby kitchen on every floor; you can cook your own meals if you wish and shop at the canteen.
How is security provided?
The dormitory has 24-hour security: CCTV system, turnstile-controlled entry and a reception staffed 24 hours a day. We are inspected by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Is there a shuttle, and is it paid?
Our shuttle leaves every hour on weekdays and is free; it goes to Gelişim University, Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Avcılar Campus and the nearby Metrobus stops.
What room types are there?
Single VIP and concept rooms, double and triple standard and VIP rooms, and economy quad rooms. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom/WC, a personal desk and unlimited internet.
